Rules for booking a beach Volleyball court

Welcome to Esperia Volleyball Academy’s new online booking system!
We’re excited to make it easier for everyone to enjoy beach volleyball while keeping things fair and fun for all players. Please take a moment to read how our new system works 👇

 

 

 

🏐 1. For Returning Players

 

If you’ve booked with us before, check your email — you should have received an invite to access the new system.
Once you log in, you can start booking courts right away. Easy!

 

 

 

🌴 2. For New Players

 

If you’re new to Esperia (or signing up with a different email), you’ll need to purchase a Booking Pass (AED 100) to unlock court bookings.

This helps us:

  • Keep things fair for everyone, especially during peak hours (discouraging people from making multiple accounts just to book extra hours) 

  • Prevent duplicate accounts or misuse of the booking system

Players who don’t follow community rules may have their accounts suspended or removed from the system.

 

 

 

💸 3. Your AED 100 Credit

 

Good news! That same AED 100 Booking Pass can later be redeemed as booking credits — it’s basically a deposit.
To redeem it:

  • You must be an active user for at least 3 months

  • You must follow all community rules

Once eligible, just send us an email at fly@volley.ae, and we’ll credit it to your account for future bookings.

No cash reimbursement can be issued, only credits to be used to book a court or to buy other services provided by Esperia Volleyball Academy.

 

 

 

🌊 4. Guest Bookings

 

Just visiting or playing once?
You can book as a Guest Membership — no Booking Pass needed.
Guest bookings simply have a slightly higher fee than standard bookings.

 

 

 

🏅 5. Player Categories & Fees

 

We have two types of court booking categories:

  • Standard

  • Premium  - reserved for 2v2 players, where the total court fee is shared among fewer participants

Each group has its own hourly rate.
All new users start in the Standard Category by default.

Want to move to the Premium group?
Join one of our “Set Your Level” sessions, where our coaches will assess your skills and assign your level.
Your level affects both:

  • Which games you can join (other players can see your level and invite you for games)

  • The booking rates you access (standard or premium)

⚠️ Fair Play Reminder:
If someone with a Premium badge is found booking Standard games under the lower Premium rate, they’ll lose their Premium status and revert to Standard access and pricing.

Frequent Asked Questions

 

🏐 1. I’m registered as a 2v2 player, but I’ve been invited to a 6v6 game. What should I do?

 

Go ahead and enjoy the game! 🎉
Just make sure that someone else makes the booking for the 6v6 court.
If you regularly play both formats (2v2 and 6v6), send us an email at fly@volley.ae — we can set up two separate profiles for you.
That way, you can book for either category without putting your Premium (2v2) membership or benefits at risk.

 

 

 

🏅 2. How can I move from the Standard group to the Premium group?

 

Join one of our “Set Your Level” sessions! 🏖️
During this session:

  • Our coaches will evaluate your skills and confirm if you’re ready to play 2v2.

  • Our back office will review your booking history (whether you’ve mostly played 2v2 or 6v6).

If you’re new to the community, only the coach’s evaluation will be considered.
However, if you receive the Premium badge and later mostly play 6v6, your badge will be switched back to Standard to keep things fair.

Once approved for 2v2, you’ll unlock:

  • Premium booking rates

  • Access to open games

  • And your official 2v2 badge on your profile 🎯

 

 

 

🎓 3. I’m a Beach Volleyball student at Esperia. How does the system work for me?

 

Students of Esperia Volleyball Academy are automatically placed in the Premium category 🏆.
You’ll also enjoy exclusive benefits reserved for our students and members.
Your skill level and ranking are already linked to your profile — no need to attend the “Set Your Level” sessions.

 

 

 

💸 4. Why is there now a registration fee for new users?

 

The AED 100 Booking Pass isn’t really a fee — it’s a credit deposit.
If you’re an active player who follows the rules, you can redeem it as booking credit after 3 months.
It only becomes a real expense for users who create multiple fake accounts just to book extra hours during peak times. ⏳

No cash reimbursement can be issued. Only credits to book courts or other services with Esperia Volleyball Academy

 

 

🤝 5. How does the new price difference between Premium and Standard help players?

 

The updated pricing system makes things fairer for everyone 🌞.
Now, 2v2 players (Premium) pay a lower rate than 6v6 players (Standard) — which makes sense since fewer people share the court fee.
Under the old system, this wasn’t possible, and prices weren’t as fair across formats.

 

 

 

⚖️ 6. Do players with better skills get cheaper rates?

 

 

Not exactly — this isn’t about skill level, it’s about fair usage.
During the “Set Your Level” sessions:

  • Coaches assess whether you’re genuinely able to play 2v2.

  • The back office checks your booking history (were you playing 2v2 or 6v6?).

The goal is simple:
✅ Keep booking fees fair based on how many players share the court.
If a Premium (2v2) player books Standard (6v6) games using the lower rate, the Premium badge will be removed.

This system ensures transparency and fairness for everyone in the community 🌴.

 

 

🌊 7. Is the guest membership redeemable like the booking pass?

 

No the Guest Membership is not redeemable because it does not require any deposit. The membership is free of charge and its purpose is only to allow people visiting Duabi or playing once to book a court without having to pay the Booking Pass.
